The baptismal font at Good Shepherd

Baptism

Baptism is the fundamental sacrament of Christian initiation. Baptism is our death and resurrection with Christ, our rebirth as children of God. Anyone of any age may be baptized; there is typically a period of preparation that varies with the age of the candidate.

Confirmation

Typically received as a teen or adult, confirmation is the laying on of hands by a bishop which affirms the baptism previously received. There is a typical period of preparation of several weeks or even months; please speak with priest associate if you are interested in receiving the sacrament of Confirmation.
