Little Lamb’s Closet Newsletter, March 2025

We recently sent out a newsletter about our last two drop-offs to St. Thomas Closet and Hour Children. We distributed all the items that were in the closet which means – our closet is completely empty! Please consider bringing in diapers, wipes, new or gently used infant clothing.  Please consider making a financial donation ear-marked for Little Lamb’s Closet.  Your donations go directly to helping others. We show accountability by handing in receipts. In addition, the local non-profits we distribute to sign for items received.

St. Ann's in the Bronx needs arts and crafts supplies all year round so if you have art supplies at home you don't need, please bring them in.  We are hoping to raise $119.00 to ship them one carton of construction paper and 98 boxes of crayons (8 crayons per pack). That should keep the kids busy during this very cold winter.

For the last two years, Angela Hayden has has put her writing skills to use for Little Lamb's Closet. For example, she wrote a grant for St. Edmunds in the Bronx and has written correspondence for Brother John from St. Thomas Closet. This past Fall, Brother John invited us to help him advocate for a diaper bank in Brooklyn.  Little Lamb’s Closet stepped up to the plate and created the attached diaper brochure. Amanda Ballas, our high school intern, designed the brochure and Angela Hayden wrote it. Special thanks to Amanda for all her hard work. The attached version was recently revised to draw attention to our own mission. Bishop Shin loves our work and actually took a hard copy home with him. FYI, there are more hard copies in the back of the church.  We need help spreading the word about Little Lamb's Closet. Please read the brochure. It is informative and can be used to help you spread the word. If you are on facebook or instagram feel free to post it.
